Sereno Coffee Tables
What happens when structure becomes art?
What happens when simplicity takes on meaning?
Design by Joel Escalona
These are the questions that guided me in designing the Sereno Coffee Table Series. I wanted to create pieces where beauty wasn’t just about what you see on the surface but also about how things come together—the hidden elements that often go unnoticed but are essential to balance and harmony.
With Sereno, the story lies beneath. The tabletop is minimal and clean, but the legs—sculpted like soft, wooden pebbles—are the soul of the design. These organic shapes are carefully placed to support the structure, giving the table a subtle presence, as if it’s effortlessly floating just above the ground. Each pebble leg is different, creating a sense of individuality that reflects the natural variations found in the world around us.
For this collection, I chose to work exclusively with solid wood because I believe in the honest beauty of natural materials. You can select red oak with a natural finish, or explore tinted variations to match your space. For those seeking a richer expression, walnut or white oak are available as premium options. Each piece feels tactile, solid, and timeless—something you’ll want to touch and live with every day.
The Sereno Coffee Tables come in a range of shapes—round, oval, or rectangular—designed to complement any environment. Whether your space is minimal or eclectic, these tables will feel at home without demanding attention. They’re complete as they are, with or without objects, bringing a sense of calm wherever they are placed.
With Sereno, my goal was to create pieces that embody balance, simplicity, and subtle artistry—tables that feel meaningful not because they are heavily adorned, but because they are thoughtfully crafted. At the heart of this collection is the belief that great design doesn’t need to shout; it just needs to feel right.
I hope these tables bring a sense of quiet beauty to your home, transforming ordinary moments into something extraordinary.
