EMERGENTE — ZONA MACO DISEÑO 2024

EMERGENTE, presented by ZONA MACO DESIGN, celebrated its fourth edition from February 7 to 11 at the Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City. This prominent platform sought to promote the talent of young designers, offering a showcase for original projects that are distinguished by their high conceptual and discursive quality.

In this new edition, EMERGENTE carefully selected projects to be exhibited within the framework of ZⓈONAMACO DESIGN, with the idea of creating a space for new talents to show their emerging design works.

The initiative for this platform came from the curatorial team composed of Cecilia León de la Barra, Artistic Director of ZⓈONAMACO DESIGN, and industrial designers Joel Escalona and Jorge Diego Etienne, who have opted for pieces that stand out both for their aesthetics and functionality.

With an offering that includes coat racks, screens, and chairs, as well as benches, floor and table lamps, vases, and plates, EMERGENTE has established itself as a must-attend event for lovers of contemporary design.

We thank all the designers who participated and contributed with their vision and creativity, making this fourth edition a success.
